Sarah Malone Commission - Manchester

Moving from the area, Sarah requested a huge canvas to celebrate 25 years of her time in Manchester. They had a list of sights and places important to them so on a sunny day I went walking with my camera.

"We were moving to North Wales and wanted a memento of the twenty-two years living together in Sale. Our first thought was Sarah Mitch as we had admired her work for a while. We initially visited her studio to discuss scale and to look at existing photographs, we took this opportunity to suggest extra photographic locations where we had lived, worked and loved. Once Sarah had all the photographs she mocked a couple of designs and emailed them to us, we then visited her in the studio once more to see the final mock up. Sarah made the whole process of commissioning a piece of art very easy, she was extremely helpful, professional and made you feel comfortable with her lovely friendly nature - oh but the tea and nettle soup was also great :)

We love the artwork created for the wall in our home in Snowdonia, it brings a smile to our faces and brings back such happy memories of our lives in Sale. It is always admired and is a talking point when friends and family visit. Thank you Sarah Mitch, we LOVE IT! xx"
